After your treatment please follow the advice below in order to gain the most benefit from your massage.
- Increase your water intake following a massage to assist the body's detoxification process
- Cut down on consumption of stimulants (e.g. alcohol, coffee or tea)
- You may feel generally sleepy or tired
- You may also feel weepy or emotional due to the release of tension
- You will feel warm due to your improved circulation
- You may experience an increase in urination due to the body releasing toxins
- If you experience aching and soreness in the muscles, this will be short-lived and followed by a relief from muscular tension (only by deep tissue and sport massage)
- You will feel less stressed and more relaxed
- You should experience improved sleep patterns
- You may experience a heightened sexual appetite
