After Your Massage

After your treatment please follow the advice below in order to gain the most benefit from your massage.
  • Increase your water intake following a massage to assist the body's detoxification process
  • Cut down on consumption of stimulants (e.g. alcohol, coffee or tea)
  • You may feel generally sleepy or tired
  • You may also feel weepy or emotional due to the release of tension
  • You will feel warm due to your improved circulation
  • You may experience an increase in urination due to the body releasing toxins
  • If you experience aching and soreness in the muscles, this will be short-lived and followed by a relief from muscular tension (only by deep tissue and sport massage)
  • You will feel less stressed and more relaxed
  • You should experience improved sleep patterns
  • You may experience a heightened sexual appetite
